Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the in-person event “The Gifts We Carry” at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, NS, on Thursday, September 18, 2025.

This free educational program is a component of Truth and Reconciliation Week 2025, and is being brought to you by the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (NCTR).

Please note: Some roles require availability for Wednesday, September 17 for the dress rehearsal and Thursday, September 18 for the show.

"The Gifts We Carry" Youth Empowerment Gathering takes place on Thursday, September 18 and will conclude no later than 2:00pm. A full-dress rehearsal is scheduled for Wednesday, September 17, with sound checks taking place on Tuesday, September 16 (times to be confirmed).

Please indicate your availability below - specific times will be communicated once your role is confirmed.

There will be a brief volunteer orientation on the evening of Wednesday, September 17, after which we'll rally together to place a few thousand orange t-shirts on seats for students. Teamwork at its best! We truly appreciate your flexibility!

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available. Please note that some may require availability on both September 17 and 18.
