Topic: Telling a Fuller History – the story of Reconciliation at the National Cemetery of Canada

In this intermediate session, Nick McCarthy, Director of Communications, Marketing and Community Outreach at Beechwood Cemetery will be talking about the importance of understanding the difference between history and how we talk about history and historical figures like Duncan Campbell Scott, Nicolas Flood Davin, Peter Henderson Bryce, and Olive Patricia Dickason. Nick will share information about the development of the Reconciling History Tour and how it has evolved over time. The session will end with a question and answer period.
